We are looking to appoint a new Secondary Coordinator. As the Secondary Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day of our secondary school division. You will work closely with teachers, staff, and administrators to ensure the smooth operation of the secondary school and the fulfilment of our educational objectives.
Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the curriculum development and implementation for the secondary school division.
- Design the schedules of the different teachers and activities
- Provide leadership and support to secondary school teachers, facilitating professional development and collaboration.
- Monitor student progress and academic performance, implementing interventions as needed to support student success.
- Collaborate with administrators to establish and maintain a positive school culture conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Manage extracurricular programs and activities for secondary students, promoting participation and engagement.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behaviour, and other relevant matters.
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring of secondary school staff, as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant educational standards and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or similar
- Master's Degree in Education Management or similar
- High level of English
- High level of Spanish
- 3 years of experience in the role, preferably in an international school where the IB was implemented
- A valid work permit to work in Spain/European Union
- Having a car is highly desirable
